We have had a great summer so far! This is the first time in 7 years we've taken off a full summer from homeschooling the boys. They are loving it - but doing the "awwwww MOM" about having to do chores during summer. I tell them to get over it! The big boys have spent time with their grandparents and Andreas and I took a mini-vacation with some good friends of ours to a spectacular resort in West Palm Beach. We were livin' it up! Our whole family attended a wedding and got all dressed up! Andreas and Mitchell went on a "dad/son" trip to Universal studios. Mitch also went on a fantastic 10-day youth trip to North Carolina called "Centrifuge." Colin went on a 4-day Young Marines Regiment Campout in Brooksville, FL. Colin came home polite, helpful and saying nothing but "Yes Ma'am, Yes Sir, no excuse Sir!" What more could you ask for?? In between trips we have been going to the beach and the pool regularly and Josiah is very close to learning how to swim. Now we're all packing up and heading to opposite ends of the country. Mitchell is going to Los Angeles to spend time with his dad and Andreas, Colin, Josiah and Amy are going to visit our family in Minnesota! We're really looking forward to seeing them.
